ABC Training and Consulting is a registered training organisation established to deliver training and assessment to students and businesses throughout Australia. We offer a large range of nationally recognised qualifications, each designed to advanced career opportunities. Based in Queensland, and servicing all states and territories, ABC is one of the few registered training organisations equipped to deliver training on a national scale.
Our focus as a registered training organisation is to be the preferred industry partner in our training sectors. We aim to accomplish this by listening to current industry needs and providing real and measurable outcomes through outstanding training, delivered at the highest quality. We combine theory with practical experience, meaning that our students graduate with the work-ready skills necessary for successful employment.

Michael Staal – Director
Michael has 15 years experience in the VET sector. Michael’s love for education began his career as a school teacher, teaching Physical Education and Mathematics, progressing to the Faith Lutheran College Head of Physical Educations, Sports and Vocational Education. As part of this role Michael created the college’s RTO status, as well as creating in house programs and curriculum development.
The experience, skills and knowledge Michael has gained over the years has helped to build a strong business foundation for ABC Training and Consulting today who is focused on delivering a holistic approach to learning and development.
Nathan Baratta – CEO
Nathan has over 10 years experience in the VET sector across many different roles. Having progressed from a Business Development Officer, through to roles as National Business Development Manager and now CEO of ABC Training and Consulting.
Having previously worked in the VET sector, Nathan has a thorough understanding of the challenges that business owners face on a daily basis. With strong practical experience in strategic and operational planning, business growth and leadership, Nathan has a proven record of having managed and led large teams across the educational sector.
